An incubation company called ‘Alamaram’ is providing all these free of charge to the youth from the villages: unlike others, it is collecting these with a service perspective without asking for a share in the profits. The inspiration behind it is…
The girl’s name is Mohana Deepa, she belongs to a village in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. He did B.Sc in Visual Communications due to his interest in drawing since childhood. Inspired by father
That means Murthy’s father Trimurthy used to work in Tamil Nadu Khadi Company. Although he was an ordinary government employee, he educated many poor children at his own expense. He used to give food every week. All this greatly influenced Ambimurthy. Having done engineering in VIT, he worked in an IT firm in California. Later came to India and joined Sridhar Maybu’s ‘Zoho’. He possessed the spirit of setting up big companies in small villages and towns. While working on behalf of Joho in England, Australia and the Netherlands, he saw the startup environment there closely. With those experiences, he set up a company called Go-Zen in Coimbatore with his friend. He faced many difficulties to establish himself as a first generation entrepreneur in that small town. However, he worked hard and got hundreds of customers in the country and abroad. While the company was slowly becoming profitable, Ambimurthy’s father Trimurthy died of illness. Ambi Murthy, who founded the ‘Alamaram’ company with the idea that his skriti and sevaspirti should last forever, enlisted the youth who were scared and looking at each other when the angel investors were asking for 70 percent shares. He is turning them into entrepreneurs. Go-Zen is using all the profits from his share of the company for this purpose. He wants people from any part of the country to come to him. Moreover – if the startups born in ‘Alamaram’ Incubation Center employ 150 people, he identifies those who have startup ideas among those employees and starts seed companies by them.
